This Dump Point is located at the entrance to the Blackbutt Showgrounds.
There is also a water station at the dump point, where water is available for a small fee. Currently $1 for 250 litres.
There is a hose attached, but do not use this to fill potable water tanks. There is good access and plenty of space to turn around.
You can also stay at the Showgrounds, see our Blackbutt Showgrounds listing.
HOW TO GET THERE
Blackbutt is around halfway between Kilcoy and Kingaroy on the D’Aguilar Highway. In town turn right at the only major crossroads into Muir Street and pst the Post Office; the Showgrounds entrance is about 400m on the right.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Dump Points are sites especially designed for Recreational Vehicles (RVs) to dispose of their waste, including Grey and Black Water, and Sewerage in an environmentally safe way.
Some Dump Points will have a hose provided for the rinsing of your holding tanks. Be mindful that these hoses may have been used to clean waste, and in no circumstances should be used to fill your drinking water tanks.
Some Dump Points also use recycled water, not intended for drinking. If drinking water is available at these sites, it should be clearly marked. If it is not marked as such, avoid using it as potable water.
