Bicheno Caravan Park and Take Away (CP)

The friendly staff welcome you to Bicheno Caravan Park & Take Away. Located in the heart of Bicheno, in the centre of Tasmania’s east coast, Bicheno Caravan Park & Take Away Shop offers 20 powered sites and 12 unpowered camping sites as well as self-contained cabins.. Their cosy park has a BBQ eating area, toilets, showers and laundry. Their beautiful beaches are only a short 5-minute walk away.

HOW TO GET THERE

Bicheno is located 160km from Launceston via Highway 1 and Lake Leake Highway (B34) to Tasman Highway; or 178 km from Hobart via Tasman Highway. . Bicheno Caravan Park is on the left.

SITE ACCESS
This site is situated 1.2km after the long left hand bend entering Bicheno, on the corners of Burgess and Tribe Streets. Along Burgess Street, you’ll see their signpost then turn left into Tribe Street and right into the entrance.

THINGS TO DO
The township of Bicheno is situated right in the middle of Tasmania’s mild sunny east coast, approximately half way between Hobart and Launceston. Bicheno boasts a wide selection of landscapes, including long white sandy beaches, rocky outcrops, rural country side and open forest areas. Within easy walking distance of the township centre is a safe swimming beach for children, a foreshore walking track and a safe blow hole.

Attractions accessible from the township include the Le Frog’s Trike Rides, Bicheno Penguin Tours, Freycinet Sea Cruises and several East Coast cool climate wineries. Freycinet Adventures offer a range of cruises and activities out of Coles Bay, as well as Freycinet Air Charters which operate joy flights from the northern end of the peninsula.
