Batten Point Campground (CG)

This is a Campground with basic facilities..  After 200milities from none to all those provided by many Caravan Parks but in a different setting.

We are still waiting for further information on this campground to update their details, in the meantime you may use the information below to find out more about this site.

HOW TO GET THERE
Turn off highway 1 (Carpentaria Highway) for Borooloola (Robinson Road) and after 3.4km turn right into Searcy Street. After 200m this becomes Old Bing Bong Road; follow for 4.9km and turn right for Bing Bong and continue a further 13.5km.  Turn right into Batten Road and follow for 28.9km to the campground at the end.

FEES & BOOKING
Permit Fees for campng are $10/day or $50/week.  The facilities at King Ash Bay (about 8km)  can be used for $31/week. Pay at local ranger station.
