The Bathurst showgrounds are only a short walk to the main shopping centre and are opposite the Information centre. They are over a very large area with most sites on grass and quite level and offer a combination of powered and unpowered sites. Toilet and shower amenities are available.
Many showgrounds offer affordable and convenient locations to camp, especially for larger RV\’s. Many will also permit pets. However, many showgrounds are closed at certain times of the year due to the Annual Show or other events. It is always best to check their website or call ahead to avoid disappointment.
HOW TO GET THERE
On Kendall Avenue (Great Western Highway) Bathurst NSW 2795.
Adjacent to the C.B.D. on the eastern approaches to the city and opposite the Bathurst Regional Council Visitors Information Centre.
SITE ACCESS
Stop just inside the entrance and wait for the caretaker for directions, or if unattended ring caretaker before proceeding to a site.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Powered site up to 2 persons: $30.00/night and Unpowered site up to 2 persons: $25.00/night. $6.00 per person per night additional.
Extra Charge of $10 per night for cars being towed by a motorhome.
Higher rates may apply during peak periods.
