Best known for the gently flowing St Johns Brook and its picturesque river pools, St Johns Brook Conservation Park is a favourite with locals and visitors for swimming, picnics and camping.
The park also has a fascinating saw-milling history from early last century that is still evident today around Barrabup Pool and along the Old Timberline Trail.

SITE ACCESS
From Nannup drive north along Vasse Highway, turn left into Mowen Road and drive about 8km west to Barrabup.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions

FEES & BOOKINGS
Fees are from $8/adult per night, $6/concession card holder per night, $3/child per night (over 5 and under 16 years

No bookings, this Park has a site entry or Ranger station, payment in cash may be required.

The campground is very popular during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay at these times in case there is no suitable site available.

FACILITIES
Facilities include tables, fire rings, sealed vault pit toilets and information.

THINGS TO DO
Picnic or swim at Barrabup Pool, walk or cycle the Old Timberline Trail from Nannup to Cambray Siding (20km one way).

GUIDELINES
Campfires are usually permitted between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood. When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks.
Very few campgrounds have waste bins – take all waste with you when you leave.
