THINGS TO DO
Cervantes is a small town with a general store, post office, liquor store, pharmacy, service station, a country club and tavern, several cafes and restaurant options, and a variety of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.

You may add to the list the following places to enjoy what the town has to offer.

Lobster Shack – great for family and friends with daily factory tours which you can learn the history of the crayfishing industry and how it operates today. Also serving daily is their restaurant. Other tours are also offered.

Lake Thetis Stromatolites – a saline coastal lake with living marine stromatolites. The lake is high in saline thus very few water species are able to adapt such as small fish, a few crustaceans, and amphiods. Located at the edge of the lake is an enjoyable 1.5km bushwalking trail.

Cervantes Art Trail – coordinated by the talented and artistic members of the Cervantes community, the art trail is an ongoing project designed to highlight interesting features around the town as you walk, ride or drive around.

Aragon Street Foreshore – a beautiful foreshore with paved walkways, a large grassed area, gas BBQs, children’s playground, public toilets, beach volleyball, and direct access to a beautiful white sand beach. It is located on the doorstep of the RAC Cervantes Holiday Park.

A very popular kite-surfers and wind-surfers destination is Thirsty Point, south from the foreshore. It is also a great vantage point to view the Cervantes islands.
