Whether you are travelling alone or in a large group:- just wanting a bed for the night or the next couple of weeks: – in a tent or a van, even a motorhome or bus, the Ballina Beach Village and Wilderness Camping Park can accommodate you. There are powered and unpowered sites for tents and vans and all types of vehicles, large and small, with or without slabs, drive-throughs… you name it, it’s available at this park.

Located on 20 acres adjacent to the Richmond River and the coast, the sites are large and comfortable with shade and river breezes all through the sites.

The cabin accommodation ranges from love shacks and couples retreats, through to budget and compact family cabins and on to large and superior family cabins, all fully self-contained and available with or without linen included.

A well-stocked kiosk with all the necessities including groceries and gas, a café, take away food, even fishing tackle and bait are all available on-site if you just don’t feel like going anywhere today!

The Richmond River and Nature Reserve are on your doorstep, as is the Pacific coast, with 4wd beach access to over 30km of beach. The coastal heathland and beaches provide a wealth of local flora and fauna including a myriad of bird species for the walkers and great fishing as well.

The township of Ballina itself, with museums, attractions and shops and relaxed beach-side atmosphere lies just across the river.

HOW TO GET THERE
Travelling south on the freeway take the 2nd Ballina Exit (River Street) Take the left hand exit at the roundabout interchange as you come off the freeway and head north, then into Burns Point Ferry Road (you will see the Big Prawn on your left one block up). When you come off the ferry, take the first left hand turn onto South Ballina Beach Road. We are the last place on the right, about 4.4k, look for the Ballina Beach Village sign.

Travelling North on the Pacific Highway, turn right into River Drive, before crossing the Wardell Bridge. Turn right into South Ballina Beach Road. Most people, visitors and locals alike use the ferry to cross the Richmond River, which is at the end of Burns Point Ferry Road, about 10 minutes from the centre of Ballina.

SITE ACCESS
Drive down the drive way and park on front of the Office, which is located on the left hand side of the internal road. Caravanners please park parallel to kiosk, singular vehicles may use the designated parking area.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Fee is from $35/ night per couple for unpowered site and $45/ night per couple for powered site.
