If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for all your vehicle repairs and maintenance while you’re travelling in the Port Augusta area, Augusta UnderCar can help you out. Conveniently located on the A1 in Port Augusta’s east, they can take care of your mechanical needs and more.

Augusta UnderCar’s extensive list of mechanical services includes working on suspension, brakes, clutch, exhaust and radiators as well as general servicing. In addition to this they also offer auto electrical and air conditioning diagnostics and repairs and can look after your battery needs, including dual systems. They also install tow bars and can provide and fit wheels and tyres and repair punctures. Add to this that they are an O’Brien windscreen and glass authorised dealer and they really are a one-stop shop for all your automotive repairs. They stock top brands such as Yokohama and Mickey Thompson tyres and Carline mufflers, and can also custom make exhaust systems.

Though the workshop is only open weekdays and Saturday mornings, Augusta UnderCar also provides an after-hours call-out service. So if you find yourself stuck with a broken windscreen, puncture or other problem, give them a call. FRC Premium Club members can also take advantage of a 10% discount on labour.

HOW TO GET THERE
Augusta UnderCar is located right on the A1 (Augusta/Princes Highway) between Auto One and the Holden dealership on the eastern side of Port Augusta. If you’re coming from the east, you’ll go past the Shell/Coles Express service station and then travel along a causeway-like section. After this you will see Power Station Road on the left with Bridgestone Service Centre on the corner. Augusta UnderCar is about 100m further on.

If coming from the west, follow the A1 through Port Augusta. You will eventually reach a section of the highway that is divided. You’ll see the Holden dealership on the right just after the start of the divided section. Continue on past Augusta UnderCar to Power Station Road and do a U-turn to get to the workshop.

SITE ACCESS
There’s plenty of parking and room to manoeuvre out the front of the workshop. If you’re driving anything larger than a 4WD, call ahead to make sure that they can accommodate your vehicle.
