Augathella Dump Point (DP)

This dump point is located withing the grounds of the Augathella Show Grounds. Approximately 1km South from the main street of town. From the middle of town, head out along Russell Street and the entrance to the Showground is on your left. There are gates which should be open. Access is open and clear with plenty of room to turn around. The dump point is towards your left and near the buildings.
Access could be difficult at times when the showgrounds are being used.

There is no camping available at the Showgrounds, but there are several other locations in town that permit it.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Dump Points are sites especially designed for Recreational Vehicles (RVs) to dispose of their waste, including Grey and Black Water, and Sewerage in an environmentally safe way.

Some Dump Points will have a hose provided for the rinsing of your holding tanks. Be mindful that these hoses may have been used to clean waste, and in no circumstances should be used to fill your drinking water tanks.

Some Dump Points also use recycled water, not intended for drinking. If drinking water is available at these sites, it should be clearly marked. If it is not marked as such, avoid using it as potable water.
