Only 150km (one a half hours) from Adelaide, Ardrossan is renowned for its abundance of Blue Swimmer crabs. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing days fishing from the jetty which is just a couple of minutes stroll from the caravan park. There is an excellent boat ramp and during the season Snapper, Mulloway, Whiting and Salmon are caught in reasonable numbers, while from the jetty Tommy Ruff, Garfish, Snook, Mulloway and Whiting provide many an enjoyable meal for tourists. The whole of the Yorke Peninsula is within easy reach of Ardrossan.
Ardrossan Caravan Park boasts modern clean facilities and is centrally situated to all town facilities – a two minute walk to the beach, jetty, boat ramp and Town Centre. The town centre shops include a supermarket, 2 hardware stores, chemist, bakery, ATM, bank, newsagent, post office, clothing store and a variety store. The town also has two hotels and the Ardrossan Golf Club is right next door.
