Aranyani Bison Adventure Tourist Park is a working American Bison Ranch offering visitors one of Australia’s most unique experiences. Aranyani boasts an abundance of native birds and animal life, walking tracks, fishing, canoeing and a load of other activities for the whole family.

Set on 1180 acres in the beautiful Bungawalbin catchment area, Aranyani has a 2.5 km stretch of the Myrtle Creek which is the largest freshwater wetland in the southern hemisphere. Whether you come for the day or come for a stay, this amazing ranch has something for everyone. Day Visits, Camping and Native American Style Tipi Glamping.

Bookings are essential for campsites as there are only 8 camping sites available. The large sites (16m x 26m) are level and suitable for tents, caravans and RV’s and offer views to the Bison Ranch and natural bush setting surroundings. Each campsite comes with a stone fire pit and free firewood is delivered to your campsite daily. A brand new amenities block, undercover BBQ area and the onsite Kiosk which stocks a few grocery items, pre packed foods, drinks, snacks, some camping supplies and limited bison meat for purchase are all centrally located for your convenience.

Tipi Accomodation
Spend a night or two camping with a difference in one of Aranyani\’s 5 Star Native American Style Tipis that are available. The spacious tipi\’s are perfect for catching up with family or friends accommodating up to 12 people per tipi. You can hire an empty tipi and bring along your own camping gear or hire one with the works. Packages are available on their website link below. Free firewood is delivered to the communal fire circle daily.

Day Visits
The park is open daily from 10am to 5pm and include a range of free activities including beach volleyball, boules, cricket and mini wiffle baseball, as well as access to the amenities, BBQ, swimming pool and bushwalking tracks.

Wake up to the sound of Bernie the Bush-stone Curlew and other animals that call Aranyani home. It’s quite common to have eastern grey kangaroos, wallabies or Bernie  hanging out near the campgrounds. There are plenty of walking tracks throughout the entire property where you can see the wildlife in their natural habitat. Daily there is also the opportunity to get up close and personal with the American Bison with the Bison demonstration feeding and educational talk.

HOW TO GET THERE
Aranyani is near to Casino, Grafton, Lismore, Byron Bay and 2 hours south of the Gold Coast. Elliotts Road is 31km south of Casino or 74km north of South Grafton travelling on Summerland Way (B91). Turn south-east into Elliotts Road from Summerland Way.
Aranyani Bison is about 7km down Elliotts Road on the right-hand side. You’ll see a sign at the bush shelter 2km from the entrance pointing the way.

SITE ACCESS
Turn in the gate at the cattle grid and follow the road past the tipis to the car park. Please park in the designated car park and check-in at the Kiosk.

FEES & BOOKING
Day Visit Entry Fees – Adults $18, Student/Pensioner $15, Child $12.
Camping Sites – $23/night per adult, $18/night per child (1-14).
Tipi Hire – $99/night for one adult.
Extra Person – Adult $25/night, Child (1-14) $20/night.

THINGS TO DO
There are lots of free activities the come with the entry fee to the park including access to the swimming pool, bush walking tracks, beach volleyball, cricket and wiffle baseball.

Other activities to make your adventure complete are the popular Argo Tour where you can expect some wet wild fun, have a fish in the creek with golden sandy beaches, go canoeing in the front dam, hire a bicycle or enjoy a round of Putt Putt.
