Situated at the junction of the Maroondah & Goulburn Valley Highways is the historic town of Alexandra. Many people pass through town on the way from Melbourne to Mt Buller and other ski resorts while some skiers use this park as a base and head daily to the snowfields. Travellers will find a relaxing stay here during the warmer months very rewarding also.

The tidy and well maintained park offers a level and lightly timbered 5 acres of grassy unpowered sites for the self-contained camper and a good choice of powered shady or open sites for vans and rigs of all types and sizes. The clean amenities, including  camp kitchen and recreation room etc., are available for the use of all guests. A kiosk with a supply of ice is located at the park as well. The fully self-contained cabin accommodation ranges from the studio to suit 2 or 3, up to the large family sized deluxe, so there are options to suit all needs.

The large town of Alexandra has all the facilities you’ll need, including groceries, banks, Post Office, medical (hospital) and the like, as well as interesting historic buildings.

There are numerous National Parks in the area for nature walks with beautiful views, and even just on the outskirts of town you’ll find McKenzie Nature Conservation Reserve an easy and relaxing destination.

Fishers will be kept busy at the nearby Lake Eildon, with Trout, Golden Perch and even Murray Cod just waiting for you.
