HOW TO GET THERE
In Burketown drive North where Highway 1 takes a 90 degree turn (Beames Street – Burketown Pub on corner). Follow round to the right and after 6km turn left then follow for a further 7.9km. Campground is the area along the river bank

$25 per night with no facilities , no water is well over the top. We understood camping was free but had a shock. $ 10 maximum. But would appear run by an aboriginal organisation hence the rediculous price as normal.
