Akanta Bush Camping (CG)

This is a Campground with basic facilities.

Campgrounds may be privately owned or provided by Government Authorities, Councils or Community Groups. They provide a varying range of facilities from none to all those provded by many Caravan Parks but in a different setting.

HOW TO GET THERE
Turn West off the Stuart Highway into Ernest Giles Road (km South of ). After 47.5km turn right for Tempe Downs; after a further 2.1km turn right (unnamed). Drive for 5.5km and turn left to the camping area (about 700m) where you will see a small toilet block.

FEES & BOOKING
Payment via honesty box and forms on site. $7.50/night for adults and $3.80/night for children.  Please respect the effort to made to maintain this facility and make your payments in the envelopes provided.  Current prices on sign if changed.
