Aerodrome Road Auto Electrics is a one-stop shop for all your automotive needs. Located at Maroochydore, they offer mechanical and auto electrical services to both Sunshine Coast locals and those travelling through the area.

Mechanical services include general and log book servicing, tune-ups, and repairs and maintenance of exhaust, suspension, brakes and any other mechanical component. All electrical systems are also covered, from starter motors and alternators to lights, power windows, fuses and audio and video equipment. If it has wiring, Aerodrome Road Auto Electrics can look after it.

The team are also air conditioning specialists and can service or regas your system. If more comprehensive work is needed, they can carry out a full inspection of the unit to check for leaks or other problems and undertake any necessary repairs to keep your vehicle at a comfortable temperature while you’re on the road.

For travellers, Aerodrome Road Auto Electrics can look after your power needs with solar and dual battery systems and can also fit and maintain electric brake systems to ensure your rig is stopping safely.

HOW TO GET THERE
Aerodrome Road is part of Route 6, which has several name changes along its length. Aerodrome Road Auto Electrics is on the northern side of the road, opposite Aldi.

If coming from the south, you can follow Route 6 (Alexandra Parade) along the coast from Mooloolaba. It becomes Aerodrome Road when it turns away from the coast. If coming from this direction, Aerodrome Road Auto Electrics is on the right. Alternatively, follow the Sunshine Motorway from the south and take the Alexandra Headland exit. Follow Sugar Road and Maud Street until you reach Aerodrome Road then turn right and Aerodrome Road Auto Electrics is a short distance along on the left.

If following the Sunshine Motorway from the north, take the Maroochydore Road exit. At the end of Maroochydore Road, turn right onto Horton Parade (Route 6), which becomes Aerodrome Road further along. Aerodrome Road Auto Electrics is on the left.

SITE ACCESS
The workshop isn’t high enough for caravans and other high vehicles so you’ll need to stop in the street, where parallel parking is available. There is a laneway leading to the back of the workshop but limited turning room for large vehicles, so you would need to reverse in.
