Free bush campground at a popular fishing destination

Woods Lake Camping Area is a bush campsite with no facilities available. The campsite is available between the boat ramp and the dam wall. A 4WD may be required to access the road leading to the lake. Campers are advised to bring a chemical toilet or portable toilet.

The site is pet-friendly and can be accessed by caravans and camper trailers with areas suitable for tents.

HOW TO GET THERE
Woods Lake can be reached by turning off the B51 to Arthurs Lake Dam, following the road past the dam for approximately 15 km. This is a gravel road that is steep in sections.
