Riverina Hotel and Free Camp is a family owned and operated country pub, located in Holbrook NSW, about halfway between Melbourne and Sydney. The locals know the pub as the “middle” with the owners, Murray and Mathew Oates being a father and son team who are both chefs by trade.

The campsite is a massive 3000 square metre area that is pet-friendly and right next to the pub. No tents are permitted in this area but there are large shady areas suitable for camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes, and big rigs. If you only have a tent and need somewhere comfortable to sleep, you can stay in one of their hotel rooms. Amenities are available for guests staying but there is a small fee associated with their use.

The owners have been updating the facilities with new bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and there is also a fridge available in the common area. It has excellent off-street parking with good 24-hour access for guests.

The Pub itself is over 100 years old and has been passed down from family to family over the past several generations. You can eat, drink, and stay all in one place. This is a relaxing family style hotel with a superb range of home-style bistro meals. There are also daily specials for both lunch and dinner and kids even eat for free on Mondays.

Lunch is served between 12pm and 2pm daily and dinner from 6pm.

Pokies and TAB are available in the bar, and they have a large beer garden with a kids playground. You are welcome to check in for a quiet one and maybe even to stay for a night or three.
