N’Dhala Gorge Campground – N’Dhala Gorge Nature Park (CG)

N’Dhala Gorge Campground is a small simple bush camping area, offering defined sites. The camp site is located at the entrance of N’Dhala Gorge Nature Park. The Gorge is accessible most of the year, though the cooler months from April to September offer the most pleasant conditions to visit.
This Gorge is a cultural treasure house, with over 5,900 individual petroglyphs, several art sites, shelter areas and other sites of cultural significance.

SITE ACCESS
The camp site is accessible via Ross Highway.
The Gorge is 90 kms east of Alice Springs along a sealed road to Ross River Homestead.
After the homestead is 11 km of 4WD track. The 4WD track crosses the Ross River several times and becomes impassable after heavy rain.

Please note: GPS Coordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual campgrounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

Camping Fee per night: Adults: $3.30, Child (5-15 years): $1.65
Family (2 adults, 4 children): $7.70

Walking tracks, four-wheel driving opportunities, and nature observation

Keep to designated roads and tracks.
All historic, cultural items and wildlife are protected.
Observe park safety signs.
