Great free overnight spot.
Relax for a few days at the Kandanga RV Park. Located within walking distance of the swimming pool, bowls club, and railway station, this park is FREE for everyone to enjoy.
The campsite features a large grassy area with tall shady trees at the back. In addition, there are also 12 sealed sites on the campground. There are toilets across the road and showers are available for a donation at the local pool but only during Pool opening hours. Bins are available, some BBQs and shelters, and a great communal fire pit. Campers are always welcomed here. However, there is a limitation on how long a group can stay. Campers are only given three days (72 hours) to freely camp in the area.
The nearest dump point is at Imbil, about 9km away.
HOW TO GET THERE
The site is best approached from the main road into town. Just before the town area, turn into the Kandanga-Amamoor Road.
SITE ACCESS
Entry to the site is on your left.
There is plenty of room for all size rigs.
FEES & BOOKINGS
There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean and tidy. Donations are highly appreciated.

Checked it out yesterday, looks like a great spot to stay for a couple of days.Swimming pool across the road, good for the kids , football field also. We were looking for somewhere to overnight on weekends as we have to be at work during the week. The pub has been rebuilt so a drink and a meal is on the cards.
Just a nice country town to be able to contribute to. Will be even better when the get the Valley Rattler up and running again We think it is a great idea for the town to be RV friendly
