Located in the heart of Queensland’s South Burnett region, the Kingaroy Holiday Park is a multi-award-winning destination that blends “good old fashioned country customer service with beautifully maintained boutique style facilities”. Positioned as an accessible country escape, it is conveniently located within a three-hour drive from Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and Toowoomba, and just 1.2 kilometres from Kingaroy’s town centre. This park distinguishes itself by offering a premium holiday experience, moving beyond a simple stopover to become an integral part of the vacation itself.
The park’s character is anchored by its resort-style heated saltwater swimming pool, a unique feature in the South Burnett region that serves as a central social hub. This inviting area is complemented by a beautifully refurbished and well-equipped camp kitchen, which includes not only standard barbecues but also gas pizza ovens, encouraging communal dining and social interaction.
The accommodation is specifically tailored to caravan, motorhome, and cabin-based travellers, with 30 spacious powered sites and a range of 32 fully self-contained cabins and villas. It’s important to note that the park has a strict policy against tents, swags, and sleeping in vehicles, a rule that fundamentally shapes its identity as an exclusive caravan and cabin park. This strategic decision ensures a consistent standard of comfort and amenity, reinforcing its “boutique” branding and creating a tranquil environment for guests seeking a more curated and comfortable country retreat.
