RULES
Dogs in parks – Dogs and pets are not permitted in National Parks but are allowed on leash in many other campgrounds; see facilites/features below for this campground.
Generators are not permitted in Parks Victoria campgrounds unless otherwise indicated.
Campfires: National and state parks: campfires can only be lit in the purpose-built fireplaces provided by the park.
Other types of parks (eg. regional parks): campfires may be permitted, but you will need to check first, and make your campfire following these campfire rules.

Free camping on the banks of the Mighty Murray , what could be better, c plenty of places just off the road in , rough but ok for 2wd cars, some places have fire pits made by other campers, some have beach access, good for overnight stop or longer if you are self contained as there no facilities.
