Rustic station stay campground.
The history of Tallering Station is long and full. It all started with a cattle station in the late 1860’s, which grew into 410000 acres by 1903 when it became known as “Tallering” for its large number (101) of cattle-aligned plots that year. Nowadays this wildlife refuge offers self-contained camping or you can stay at our beautiful donga complete with toilet shower – just bring your own food if staying overnight because there are no restaurants here… unless hungry birdwatching counts as an activity.
