This is great little breakaway (no pun intended). For anyone crossing the country, the route from Norseman to Hyden is good diversion from the bitumen. Yes it is dirt and you take your chances when the grader went through. If you decide to take this trip, the Breakaway is a clean, quiet place to stay. Highly recommended. There are no services here.
