Set in the midst of a magnificent State Forest and nestled on the shores of the lake, this well-kept park with its clean, modern amenities is a haven for campers who love bush settings or water activities of all kinds. Swimming, boating, fishing and water skiing are all popular activities at the lake and the family friendly park also has a great playground area to keep the kids happy when they are not in the water.

Bushwalking is also an attraction, with many lovely tracks from the park and surrounding forest offering great opportunities for birdwatchers and lovers of flora and fauna alike to enjoy a peaceful meander.

The generous sized sites, with or without power, are suitable for all types of rigs and setups, from tents to big rigs. The level, shady areas are conveniently located within easy reach of the amenities blocks. There are also a number of on-site cabins if you prefer, each with air-con, kitchenette etc. There is an on-site café as well, with balcony views over the lake to sit and enjoy your cuppa amongst the trees.

Nearby Cookernup’s general store has all the supplies you’ll need and includes postal services and a liquor outlet.

The town of Harvey and surrounding area originally supplied timber to Perth and the growing State, but is now predominately beef, citrus and dairy country. Many historic old buildings can be visited in the area and there is a Museum at the Harvey Railway Station displaying some of the early history of the area. The Visitor’s Centre can give details of interesting local sights.
