THINGS TO DO
Wave Rock, a granite cliff, is 15 meters high and 110 meters long. Its rounded like shape has been caused by weathering and water erosion which has undercut the base and left a rounded overhang. Water from the springs running down the rock during wetter months dissolve minerals adding to the coloring of the wave. In 1960, crystals from Hyden Rock were dated as being 2700 million years old, amongst the oldest in Australia. Located 340 km from Perth (A 3-4 hour drive)
The town has a number of other natural and man made features including Hippos Yawn, Mulkas Cave, The Humps, A large lace collection on full display. Miniature Toy Soldier museum, as well as walking trails and guided tours.
