Located on the banks of the Murray River in South Yunderup, WA. South Yunderup is 1 hour South from Perth and 15 minutes from Mandurah (WA’s second largest coastal city) Access to great crabbing fishing just off the banks on site, or bring the boat and have access to all the waterways, estuary and ocean. There are also 4 boat accessed pubs along the river. Launch the boat at the onsite ramp and park up in front of your site.
South Yunderup has many bush walking, bird watching lookouts and exploring opportunities. There are a number of children play grounds with in walking distance.
There are powered and unpowered sites available, can accomodate tents, RV, camper trailers and caravans. There are also cottages available for rent.
Very relaxed and pleasant scene with lots of regular return visitors (and not just the daily dolphins up the river). Very reasonable prices all year round, with no seasonal price hike.
This is a Caravan Park with a good range of facilities.
HOW TO GET THERE
From Forrest Highway South-East of Mandurah take the Pinjarra Road Exit from either direction and head East; ignore Old Mandurah Road on the left and after a further 2.3km turn right into South Yunderup Road. The Park is 4.7km on the right, look for a solid colorbond fence (Green) and the park sign.
