HOW TO GET THERE
The Camooweal Roadhouse (Puma) is at the western end of town and the Caravan Park is accessed via Kennedy Street at the western side. Check in at the Roadhouse first.

THINGS TO DO
Take in the heritage buildings and history on a town walk or take a self-guided tour through the artwork, interpretive and historical displays at the Camooweal Drovers Camp and Visitor Information Centre on the edge of town.
You may also want to visit Camooweal Caves National Park, with wide expanses of mitchell grass plains and spinifex woodland, protected in this park on the Barkly Tableland, a peaceful place to rest and ideal for seasonal bird watching.
Take a walk through Camooweal Cemetery and see the beautiful headstones from an era gone by.
