Emerald Caravan Dump Point (DP)

The Emerald Public Dump Point was relocated into the Showgrounds a shown below. Camping is also now available here, see separate listing.

HOW TO GET THERE
From the East or North drive through town and cross over the railway crossing, the Showrounds is almost immediately on your right.
From the West as you approach the town central area turn left into the Showgrounds before crossing the railway.

Keep left past the Show Office to the Dump Point and exit by going straight ahead.

DUMP POINTS – GENERAL INORMATION:

Dump Points are sites especially designed for Recreational Vehicles (RVs) to dispose of their waste, including Grey and Black Water, and Sewerage in an environmentally safe way.

Some Dump Points will have a hose provided for the rinsing of your holding tanks. Be mindful that these hoses may have been used to clean waste, and in no circumstances should be used to fill your drinking water tanks.

Some Dump Points also use recycled water, not intended for drinking. If drinking water is available at these sites, it should be clearly marked. If it is not marked as such, avoid using it as potable water.
