This site is a free campground with toilet facilities with a maximum stay of 7 days. The pet friendly campsite is accessible to caravans and big rigs with area suitable for tents. It is advisable to be self sufficient, bring gas/fuel stoves, drinking water, food, and firewood.
HOW TO GET THERE
The main designated camping area is adjacent to the Boat Ramp; this is 5.3km North of the Tarraleah Power Station Bridge. From the North it is 3.3km South of the junction of the Lyell Highway and Brady’s Lake Road.
There are two other allowed camping areas at both sides of the inlet channel; to access the Northern side turn off the Lyell Highway 2.1 km North of the Boat Ramp. To access the Southern side, turn off around 600 m south of the Boat Ramp on the pipeline access road, just before the pipeline turn right and follow this road keeping to the left at the two junctions.

THINGS TO DO
The area is a popular spot for fishing and canoeing. There is a 5 knot speed limit for all boats. Check for fishing rules and conditions.
