Trident Arm Campground – Lake Tyers State Park (FC)

Lake Tyers State Park extends from Lake Tyers Beach to Mount Nowa Nowa. Tall eucalyptus forests surround the northern shores of Lake Tyers, and a thin sand spit divides the lake from the ocean.

Trident Arm Campground is one of the four camping areas Lake Tyers State Park offers. The lovely campground has limited spot for caravans and tents. The site is located off Lake Tyers Road at the end of Trident Arm Track.

HOW TO GET THERE
Lake Tyers State Park is situated about 20kms northeast of Lakes Entrance. The main access into the park is via Burnt Bridge Road or Lake Tyers House Road which is 6.9km West of Nowa Nowa. These are unsealed roads.

There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean, and please visit and support the nearest town or village.

THINGS TO DO
As well as fishing in the lake and on the Ninety Mile Beach, Lake Tyers State Park offers a number of areas for picnics, beautiful bushwalks, and forest drives.

RULES
All the plants and animals in the park are protected. Leave the park as you find it.
Bins are not provided. Please take your rubbish with you.
Firearms are not permitted.
Toilet waste must be buried to a depth of at least 15cm and at least 100m away from waterways.
Campfires must be contained in a pit at least 30cm deep, be no larger than 1 metre square, have a 3 metre clearance and never be left unattended. Learn more about campfire safety.
Where possible, use a portable gas stove.
Do not cut any standing timber.
Generators and chainsaws are not permitted.
Dogs must be controlled on a leash at all times. Clean up after your dog.
