Absolute river front caravan and camping sites, including powered and unpowered sites set on 1 km of Balonne River Front, 10 kmh from town by road or river, with individual camp fireplaces and firewood and a private boat ramp. The site has access for big rigs on all weather roads.
HOW TO GET THERE
Access to the Park is only 200m North of the Carnaarvon Highway/Moonie Highway junction (where there is a large Rest Area).This is 10km North of the centre of St George.
SITE ACCESS
Continue down the driveway to the office on the right. Note that drinking water is available from tanks behind the toilet block if you need to fill before proceeding to your site. On site water is river water for washing etc. only.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Fee is from $26/ night per couple for unpowered site and $32/ night per couple for powered site.
THINGS TO DO
The park offers day fishing and boat ramp, boat from Kapunda to town, bird watching and great local tips, bush walking, canoeing, and swimming.
