The State Centre Caravan Park – Tottenham (CP)

The State Centre Caravan Park is not far from the town centre and has hut style accommodation with 12 rooms available. The area also has 12 powered sites and unpowered sites available. With basic and clean facilities, the park is an awesome place for caravans and motorhomes. Dogs are permitted on a lead.

HOW TO GET THERE
Tottenham lies on The Bogan Way and is due West of Narromine in the Lachlan Shire.  The State Centre Caravan Park is just to the South East of town on The Bogan Way just before a slight left hand curve.

Fee is $16/ couple per night for powered site, $10 for unpowered tent site; special offer stay for 4 nights and pay for 3.

THINGS TO DO
Tottenham is located in a very natural bushland setting creating an ideal opportunity for visitors to do some bird watching with over 175 species of birds that have been recorded including the Red – Winged Parrot, Painted Honeyeater, Black Falcon and Zebra Finch. Take your camera and binoculars on a tour around Tottenham and enjoy the magnificent landscape and wildlife.

Take a photo at the exact geographical centre of NSW which is marked by a Cairn constructed from local mine slag from old Mount Royal and the Bogan River Copper Mines and is located just 34km west of town. To get there, go west along Umang Street and follow Landsdale Road to Five Ways intersection, turn left towards Condobolin and the Cairn is on the left several kilometres along this road.

View the Tottenham Hotel which is located in the centre of the town and has been lovingly restored to its original 1931 condition. Its balcony has impressive views of the main street and visitors are always welcome at the bar for a chat with the locals.

Also, a visit to the Tottenham Tourist Information Centre is a must. This is a community run initiative and your one stop shop for information on the Tottenham area, local arts and crafts and souvenirs from the Centre of NSW. The local volunteers will make sure that your visit to Tottenham is unforgettable.
