ATM and EFTPOS facilities are available. An interesting mural of a man and a woman cutting a log by a river, with the sunset scene as backdrop, greets guests of the Jordan Valley Hotel. The mural, painted some 30 years ago and thus suffered some deterioration, is made interesting by its so-called ‘errors.’ Visitors will surely have fun searching for these ‘errors’ in the painting.
HOW TO GET THERE
It is located 87km East of Barcaldine, or 223km west of Emerald on the Capricorn Highway. Turn South into Blackall-Jericho Road and at the 1st cross street left onto Pasteur Street. Jordan Valley Hotel is a block and a half on the left.

THINGS TO DO
There are a couple of tourist attractions in the area. You can visit the Crystal Trumpeters and the statue of Joshua which are both located within Jericho.
