Overlooking the St Vincent Gulf, built around a large sandy beach, one of the safest on the peninsula. Coobowie is becoming increasingly popular with holiday makers.
Surrounding the township is some spectacular coastal scenery, with rugged cliffs and white sandy beaches. Coobowie is very central to all peninsula landmark towns offering visitors fishing, history, relaxation, BBQs, walking trails to Edithburgh, swimming and much more.
Coobowie has tennis courts and lawn croquet greens. The tennis courts are floodlit for night tennis, are available for hire.
Opposite the hotel there is a magnificent playground which includes electric barbeques and a sheltered area for picnics.
Coobowie Caravan Park is rated 3.5 star with sealed roads and modern clean amenities overlooking 100 lawned powered shady sites.
Pets are very welcome during the off peak season.
