Centrally located in the park, these sites are only a short walk from other park facilities and guest laundries.

Other powered sites are available in other areas of the park but slightly back from the beachfront. They are still all grassy level and spacious and some have concrete slabs.  There is room for all size rigs, however, big rigs will be directed to a special area.

Facilities in the park include all the standard amenities as indicated below, with additional features such as kiosk and tour desk available onsite. There are loads of activities for kids and active adults including, kayaks, stand-up paddle boarding, go-cart hire, a tennis court and games room. For anyone into boating and fishing, there is a boat ramp nearby and a fish cleaning area in the park.

Should you wish to have a break from the van, or if you are looking to meet up with family or friends who might not have a caravan, the park also has an extensive range of fully self-contained cabins. Cabins range from Budget Cabins through to their brand new Seabreeze Villas with a Special Access Cabin also available that boasts an open plan self contained cabin, wheelchair ramp and special access bathroom.

THINGS TO DO
The beach to the south is rocky and ideal for fishing and snorkelling, whilst the beach to the north is sandy and perfect for swimming. The prime beachfront location caters for an abundance of water-based activities – swimming, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, diving, sea kayaking, etc. The hill-face to the rear, has natural walking trails with an abundance of native fauna and flora.

Kingston Park Cliff Face Reserve – The cliff face, rising behind the caravan park, contains some of the last examples of the original vegetation of the metropolitan coast.

Burial site and artefacts – In the 1950s, burial sites were uncovered on the beach in front of the park.

Tjilbruke Spring – a natural spring which still fills the reedy area with fresh water.

Tjilbruke Monument – Made of massive stones, the monument represents Tjilbruke carrying his dead nephew, Kulultuwi, on his long journey south.

Kingston House – Kingston Historic House (c1840) is the oldest historic building in Holdfast Bay and was owned by George Strickland Kingston.

Arch of Remembrance – The landmark Arch of Remembrance is the gateway to Brighton’s infamous Jetty; South Australia’s largest ocean swim starts and finishes here.
