Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park (CP)

Lake Tinaroo Holiday Park is the ideal location to use as a base while exploring the stunning Atherton Tablelands. You will need a minimum 3 days just to see the basics, so plan for at least a week.

The park is located a short walk across the road from Lake Tinaroo itself and it only takes a minute to drive to the boat ramp to launch your boat. The Lake is home to a number of fish, including the big Barramundi, Sooty Grunter, Mouth Almighty, Perch, Brim and many more.

The Lake is used for fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, swimming, jet skiing, sailing and wind surfing.

The Park is set on 18 acres of beautiful land and we have a wide range of accommodation to suit your budget. Unpowered, powered sites, including drive through sites. Budget Cabins where you can bring your own linen to save money, Studio Units, Family Units, Poolside Units, Superior Villas and Waterview Villas – all self contained and all with ensuites. Linen is provided in all accommodation except Budget Cabins.

There are a range of activities for the family, including hiring single seater kayaks, 2 seater canoes, single seat peddle karts, grip ball, totem tennis sets and DVD’s.

Across the road are 2 great playgrounds for the kids, covered BBQ areas, and a concrete walking path with photos and information of the history of Tinaroo. This is also a great track for walking your pooch.

We have a well stocked grocery store, fresh milk and bread, snacks, toiletries, fishing tackle and bait, as well as the fishing permits required to fish in Lake Tinaroo. We sell Unleaded, Premium Unleaded and Diesel Fuel, swap and go gas cylinders, gas refills, block and party ice and bags of firewood.
