The McLean Beach Holiday Park is ideally located on the banks of the Edward River in Deniliquin. The park itself is in a tranquil, peaceful, bushland setting only a short walk from town and the ideal base to explore the nearby area.
The grassed sites are situated along the river and cater for all types of campers. Nestled under the beautiful Murray gums, the sites provide plenty of shade. The park also have drive through sites with easy access and larger sites that are available on request. For those wanting a break from the RV, or to catch up with friends or relatives who don’t have a van, the park has accommodation options to suit all styles and budgets with a large range of Cabins, Villas and Glamping Tents perfect for any occasion.
The well maintained park has a full range of facilities as listed below, including a small kiosk for your necessities and kayak hire is also available. Perfect for that family vacation and well set up for children with many outdoor activities including, a Giant ‘Kangaroo Jumper’ cushion, outdoor chess, basketball courts and bike, and walking trails. Whilst it is pet friendly, it is best to check on this at peak times.
As it is right on the river you can take advantage of many water activities available from fishing, waterskiing or canoeing. Known as ‘Deni’ by the locals, Deniliquin is a major agricultural centre with all the services and facilities for the traveller as well as many things to see and do as listed below.
HOW TO GET THERE
The park is located on the northern side of town. Easiest access is from the Cobb Highway which is the main road through town. If approaching from the southwest, take Sloane Street to the left, just after the BP. Follow this through to Butler Street and turn right, then follow Butler Street to the park entrance.
From the North East, continue past McDonalds into Charlotte Street until it reaches Butler Street, then turn right down Butler Street to the park entrance.
SITE ACCESS
Site access is wide and level, pull over at reception and let them know you have arrived.

Fee is from $36/night for Powered Sites.
Cabin prices range from $135/night for Deluxe Cabins to $155/night for Family Cabins, and from $195/night for Villas and Family Villas.
Safari Glamping Tents from $150/night and the Schoolhouse from $175/night

The Edward River
It provides visitors with ample sport and recreation opportunities. Common pastimes include skiing, swimming, fishing, beach fun and bushwalking.
McLean Beach and Willoughby’s Beach
Great for families, they are both popular picnic venues with easy access and modern facilities, making them the perfect way to spend the day out with the family. Ideal for floating during summer months, you may find yourself from one beach to another as you float peacefully along with the current.
Edward River Canoe Trail
Located in Murray Valley National Park, it is a great paddling spot with camping, picnic, and swimming opportunities. It’s also equipped with a wheelchair-accessible kayak launch.
The Island Sanctuary
Adjacent to the main street, it is a natural bushland island that has been formed by the Edward River and boasts unique native flora and fauna, including kangaroos and over 100 varieties of birdlife.
Deniliquin Town Walk
Take a walk or ride a bike, the town walk starts from Peppin Heritage Centre and finishes at the Deniliquin & District Historical Society. Grab a copy of the Deniliquin Town Walk Map from the Visitor Information Centre and start exploring.
