Starkvale bush camping area is situated in a forest setting, close to walking tracks. The camping area can be reached only by 4WD vehicles and high clearance off-road camper trailers. It is not accessible for caravans or buses.
Number of sites: 8 sites (separate but not individually numbered).
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car: walk-in camping: high clearance off-road camper trailers.
Camp site surface: grass.

SITE ACCESS
Located 4 km south-east of Robinson Gorge lookout, Starkvale camping area can be accessed from the main entry to the park from Taroom.
Access Road and is approximately 500 m from the road.
Robinson Gorge section
Robinson Gorge is 90 km or two hours north-west of Taroom along a gravel road. The last 16 km is suitable for 4WD vehicles only.
Lonesome section(suitable for all vehicle types)
From Injune, travel north for 37 km on the Carnarvon Developmental Road and turn right onto the Arcadia Valley Access Road. Drive 18 km (of which 4 km is gravel) to Lonesome.
Beilba section (4WD vehicles recommended)
From Injune, travel north for 26 km on the Carnarvon Developmental Road. Turn right onto Fairview Road and then left onto Beilba Road to the park (30 km gravel road).

Please note: GPS Coordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite.
Fees for camping permits are:
$6.55 per person per night or $26.20 per family group per night.
$3.60 per person per night for students and accompanying adults on approved excursions.
FAMILY RATE. For camping fees, a family group is defined as one or two adults and accompanying children under 18, up to a total of 8 people. Children under 5 years of age are free. Read more about CAMPING COSTS & BOOKINGS.

FACILITIES
Pit toilets and rainwater tank. Tank water is unreliable so bring your own drinking water. Treat tank water before use.

RULES
Keep to defined vehicle tracks and walking trails.
Camp in designated areas to avoid damage to fragile vegetation.
Take rubbish home with you – if you carry it in, carry it out.
