Many showgrounds offer affordable and convenient locations to camp, especially for larger RV’s. Many will also permit pets. However, many showgrounds are closed at certain times of the year due to the Annual Show or other events. It is always best to check their web site or call ahead to avoid disappointment.
Pets are welcome at the Kyogle Show Ground, with 16 powered sites, there is ample space for big rigs through to campers (powered or unpowered). We are located only a short walk from the town Centre, supermarket, pubs, clubs, restaurants and a variety of sport and recreational facilities.
Kyogle Showground makes a great base camp for exploring the wonders of our World Heritage National Parks and the many other attractions around the area.
Dump Point and Portable Water facilities are free for campers/ caravans staying/using the showground facilities. $5 cost to anyone else who just wishes to stop and dump septic wastes.
SITE ACCESS
Summerland Way Kyogle, northern end of town, cross Fawcett’s crk, then turn left into the grounds just after Viaduct.
FEES
$20-powered site p/24hr period: $120 per week. $10-unpowered p/24hr period: $60 per week
FACILITIES
Amenities include hot showers, and an undercover area for barbecues, Dump Point and Portable Water facilities.
