Workmans Pool is located next to the gently flowing St John Brook and its picturesque river pools. St John Brook Conservation Park is a favourite with locals and visitors for swimming, picnicking and camping. There are designated camp site bays at Workers Pool, some of which are accessible to small vans. The park also has a fascinating saw milling history from early last century that is still evident today around Barrabup Pool and along the Old Timberline Trail.

SITE ACCESS
8km north-west of Nannup, 60km south-east of Busselton. 10 minutes from Nannup, 40 minutes from Busselton.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions

FEES & BOOKINGS
Fees are from $8/adult per night, $6/concession card holder per night, $3/child per night (over 5 and under 16 years)

No bookings, this Park has a site entry or Ranger station, payment in cash may be required.

The campground, and the whole of the South West, is very popular during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay at these times in case there is no suitable site(s) available.

FACILITIES
The campground is well appointed and provides long-drop toilets, shaded picnic/camping area, picnic facilities and wood barbecues. Drinking water is not available, campers must bring enough for their own consumption.

THINGS TO DO
Picnic or swim at Barrabup Pool. Walk or cycle the Old Timberline Trail from Nannup to Cambray siding (20km one way). Hike or cycle in to the Sleeper Hewer’s Hut on the Old Timberline Trail and camp overnight. Bird watching and fresh water fishing are popular activities (freshwater fishing licences are required).

GUIDELINES
Campfires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood. When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks.
Very few campgrounds have waste bins – take all waste with you when you leave.
