There are a total of 100 sites at this location. The location is suitable for Caravans, Camper Trailers, Camping beside my vehicle, and Tents.
This large campground is perfect for caravans and motor homes, and offers easy access for people using wheelchairs. Your campsite will be close to all the attractions in the park, and there’s a communal kitchen, as well as fire places so you can toast marshmallows. You’re bound to welcome a hot shower at the end of a hard day’s exploring.
It can be a popular place, especially during school holidays, so you’ll need to book in advance to secure your campsite if you’re planning to bring a caravan or camper trailer.
SITE ACCESS
Unsealed road/trail – 2WD vehicles – All weather.
Wombeyan campground is at the eastern side of Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve situated on the banks of the Wombeyan Creek opposite the camper’s kitchen and Cabin Park.
Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you as close to the camp site as possible, or to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

Bookings are essential for caravans and camper trailers.
There are four powered sites in the campground for which bookings are not taken – these sites are available on a first in first served basis (fees apply)
