Washpools campground – Towarri National Park (CG)

The location is suitable for Caravans, Camper Trailers, Camping beside my vehicle, and Tents.
Washpools campground is Towarri’s established camping area. Park your caravan or pitch your tent beside Middle Brook and enjoy spending time relaxing in this gorgeous natural setting. The viewing platform for scenic views is close by, and Washpools waterhole is only 500m away. For those who want to explore the park further, use the campground as a base and hike the park from there. Enjoy a campfire in the winter months.

SITE ACCESS
Unsealed road/trail – 2WD vehicles – All weather.
On entering Towarri National Park: Drive to the end of Middlebrook Road.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you as close to the camp site as possible, or to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping $10 per adult per night. $5 per child per night.

Some National Parks require Fees to Enter the Park. For full details see PASSES & FEES.

FACILITIES
Gas/electric barbecues (free), Picnic tables, Non-flush toilets. Fire rings (bring your own firewood).

RULES
There are no marked sites.
Water is not available at this campground, so you’ll need to bring your own supply.
This is a remote campground, so please make sure you arrive well-prepared.
Firewood is not provided and may not be collected from the park, so you’ll need to bring your own supply.
If you’re bushwalking in this park, it’s a good idea to bring a topographic map and compass, or a GPS.
Check the weather before you set out as the road to Washpools campground has a creek crossing which may become impassable when it rains.
Rubbish bins are not available, so please take your rubbish with you when leaving.
Take care in the water and please supervise children at all times.
