There are a total of 30 sites at this location. The location is suitable for Camper Trailers, Camping beside my vehicle, and Tents.
Pick a flat, grassy site by the creek and set yourself up amid the rugged sandstone escarpments and dense eucalypt forests. This pretty, sheltered area is loved by birds and wildlife too – you might see wombats, wallaroos, goannas, lyrebirds and tiny sugar gliders and hear the distinctive chiming sound of bellbirds.
Take a short walk to the picnic area where you’ll find the start of a number of great bushwalks – experience rainforest and dry eucalypt forest, climb up onto the escarpment or ride along the Old Great North Road, part of the Convict Sites of Australia World Heritage Area.

Unsealed road/trail – 2WD vehicles – All weather.
Mill Creek campground is located in Dharug National Park. Mill Creek campground is located 6.6km east of the Wisemans Ferry crossing on the north side of the Hawkesbury River in Dharug National Park. To get there turn right from the ferry and follow signs for Dharug National Park – Mill Creek campground. Turn left and follow the road for 1.7km to the end where you’ll find the campground. You can also reach the campground by taking Wisemans Ferry Road from the F3 exits at Calga Gosford and Peats Ridge.
Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you as close to the camp site as possible, or to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping: $20 per night (2-person inclusive). $10 per night per additional adult (16 years+), $5 per night per additional child (5-15 years), infants free (0-4 years). No vehicle fees apply.
This is a popular campground. Reservations can be made for any arrival within the next 12 months.
Sites are suitable for up to six people. The sites may only be occupied by the number of people specified in the reservation. Check-in time 12 midday, check-out time 12 midday.

RULES
Sites are marked and unpowered.
Wood barbecues are shared between 2 or 3 sites, and firewood is not supplied.
Mobile phone coverage is limited.
Tank water is available, however it’s not recommended for drinking, you’ll need to bring your own supply for drinking and cooking.
NSW national parks are now no smoking areas.
Pets are not permitted.
