Middle Beach campground – Mimosa Rocks National Park (CG)

There are a total of 12 sites at this location. The location is suitable for Tents.
Middle Beach campground features 12 campsites in a small clearing flanked by trees and bushes.

Make the most of its easy beach access for fishing, swimming or surfing. And definitely bring your kayak or canoe to enjoy a spot of paddling in the sea or on Middle Lagoon.

As its name suggests, Middle Beach sits right in the middle of the park’s coastline. It’s a walk-in campground, but don’t let that deter you – it’s only around 80m to the campsites from the car parking area.

You’ll definitely reap the rewards of this lovely, quiet spot – particularly during holidays when other campgrounds fill up fast.

SITE ACCESS
Unsealed road/trail – 2WD vehicles – All weather.
To reach Middle Beach campground follow the Tathra-Bermagui Road and turn onto Haighs Road just north of Tanja then look for Middle Beach Road. If you reach Bithry Inlet you’ve gone too far and will need to go back the way you came. Park your car and follow the signs to the campground on foot.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you as close to the camp site as possible, or to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping $10 per adult per night. $5 per child per night. Other All fees are payable on-site to an authorised collector. Bookings are not available. During school holiday periods the maximum length of stay is two weeks, at all other times it is four weeks.

RULES
There are no marked sites.
Water is not available at this campground so you’ll need to bring your own supply.
Strong rips and currents may be present at this beach – take care in the water and please supervise children at all times.
Check the weather before you set out as the road within the park can become boggy when it rains.
A current NSW recreational fishing licence is required when fishing in all waters.
