Kingfisher Pool campground is located in the middle of Heathcote National Park, north west of Waterfall train station. The campground itself is positioned about 50m above the tranquil Kingfisher Pool.

You can access the site by foot only, as Heathcote National Park is a vehicle-free area. It’s quite a long walk along the Bullawarring track to the campground, so be sure to take plenty of water and a topographic map with you.

There are only six sites at this small campground, accommodating up to 18 campers and making for a peaceful bush atmosphere.

SITE ACCESS
Sealed road – 2WD vehicles – All weather.
Kingfisher Pool campground is located in the middle of Heathcote National Park north-west of Waterfall train station. The campground itself is positioned about 50m above the tranquil Kingfisher Pool.
To get there: Take Pacific Highway to Waterfall. Take the Kooraban Street exit ramp to Waterfall.
Turn right onto Kooraban Street Waterfall. After the ramp turn right onto Warabin Street Waterfall.
Park at the end of Warabin Street and walk in via the signposted Bullawarring track for 5.5km to the campground.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you as close to the camp site as possible, or to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping: $10 per night (2-person inclusive). $5 per night per additional adult (16 years+), $3 per night per additional child (5-15 years), infants free (0-4 years).

Reservations can be made for any arrival within the next 12 months. The sites may only be occupied by the number of people specified in the reservation. Check-in time after 12 midday, check-out time before 10am.

Campfires are not permitted at Kingfisher Pool campground, so please bring your own fuel stove
This is a remote campground, please make sure you arrive well prepared.
It is quite a long walk from the park’s entrance to the campground, so be sure to bring a Heathcote National Park topographic map.
There is no mobile phone coverage at this campground.
Please take all rubbish with you on your departure.
Generators are not permitted.
Bring your own drinking water when camping here. You can drink the water from Heathcote Creek but you’ll need to treat it first.
NSW national parks are now no smoking areas. Pets are not permitted.
