Kerang Caravan & Tourist Park is a family friendly park situated right on the banks of the Loddon River. The park is only a short drive from the Kerang Lakes District and is close to the Kerang Wetlands. The wetlands feature over 50 lakes, swamps and lagoons that are home to thousands of colourful and graceful water birds. New owners of the park Len and Kathy have been extremely busy over the last 6 months extensively cleaning and improving the grounds for travellers and will be starting renovations in the near future.

The park is pet friendly with a large number of powered, unpowered, drive through and river sites that are suitable for tents, caravans, motorhomes and fifth wheelers. The grass and concrete sites are spacious and well shaded with many sites available on the river bank having fire drums, so don’t forget to bring your own wood. Sit back and relax while you throw in a line. With a variety of native bird life around the park and beautiful sunsets over the Loddon River you are ensured of a peaceful and relaxing stay.

There is a good range of facilities including a large spacious camp kitchen and dining area that is available for park guests to sit back relax and chat with fellow travellers. The family friendly park has a table-tennis table and TV, and with the swimming pool, waterpark, playground and skate park all within a short walk, the kids will always find something to keep them amused.

The park is only a 500 metre walk to the local shopping centre and within easy walking distance of a number of specialty shops, two supermarkets and a variety of eateries.

HOW TO GET THERE
From the South (Murray Valley Highway – Bendigo) continue into the town area and past memorial park then turn left at Museum Drive go past the Tennis Court on right hand side and the Park entrance is straight ahead at the end. From any other direction follow signs for Murray Valley Highway (Bendigo) and turn left into Museum Drive at the Tennis Court and the Park entrance is straight ahead at the end.

SITE ACCESS
Once you enter the Park there is a stop sign on the left and the Office on the right. Parking available

THINGS TO DO
The park itself will provide visitors a heap of activities such as: swimming, cycling, canoeing, skating, walking, and other fun filled adventures.
A visit to the Sir John Gorton Library and the Visitor Information Centre on the Murray Valley Highway will give you access to an extensive range of visitor information and free Wi-Fi

Ibis Rookery
Located at Middle Lake, 6 klms north of Kerang, is a nature and bird lovers paradise.
Watch Strawnecked and White Ibis and other spectacular birds such as Pelicans, Swans, Spoonbills, Egrets and Ducks.

Historical Museum
Kerang Historical Museum across the road in Atkinson Park features relics of the local history, including farm machinery and cars.
Lake Kangaroo and Lake Charm are popular with visitors for water sports, fishing and boating.
