“In view of the current health crisis, FRC cannot guarantee the open status of any campground or caravan park in our listings as several have already announced closures, we suggest you contact the location, where possible to verify their status. At the bottom of each listing (when provided) will have email, phone or contact details.”
This help out opportunity is organised via Outback Links. It is a great opportunity to Help Out someone in The Gums area. In return, you will be provided with a place to park your RV at no cost. In some cases, but not all, facilities including power and water may be available. This will be confirmed upon application.
Activities: This family has been in drought so long, they are running low on funds and they can’t afford the time or the money to do any maintenance. Whatever time they take off to do something else means it takes away from feeding animals. They are run off their feet just keeping animals alive so some to help do some odd jobs would just make the world of difference.
Are you an all-rounder? There are plenty of odd jobs to do like fixing holes in fences, machinery maintenance, feeding animals, general building maintenance, lighting repairs, and the list goes on! Shout if you can make a meaningful difference at this one!
When: Anytime from now
Duration: 4 weeks or more
Accommodation: “Bring Your Own” Accommodation is preferred but we could make arrangements if really needed
IMPORTANT NOTE – before volunteering all volunteers need to be registered with Outback Links and have an up to date Working with Children Check and National Police Check. To volunteer, please apply here and contact Outback Links ASAP to arrange the checks, as they can take some time to process.
