THINGS TO DO
At the top of the Main Range National Park, on western slopes of the Great Dividing Range you will discover the spectacular Queen Mary Falls. Located 15kms from Killarney, the road is sealed and signposted. The Falls have a 40 meter drop and can be viewed from the top or bush walk from the bottom. A magnificent lookout located a bit further up the road from Queen Mary Falls. Carr’s Lookout will give you panoramic views over the valley where Condamine River rises, and beyond to Mt Wilson and Mt Superbus in the Scenic Rim.
Explore the Condamine Gorge in your 4WD, as it passes 14 Creek crossings. Lovely, crystal clear water running over smooth well‐worn rocks and pebbles with the Australian bush surrounds makes this a very pretty place
To discover the town of Killarney, start at the Killarney Heritage Centre, where you can enjoy a pleasant walk from Killarney Sundown to several cafes, two art galleries, the Killarney Coop and other commercial service providers that supply our community
