“In view of the current health crisis, FRC cannot guarantee the open status of any campground or caravan park in our listings as several have already announced closures, we suggest you contact the location, where possible to verify their status. At the bottom of each listing (when provided) will have email, phone or contact details.”
This help out opportunity is organised via Outback Links. It is a great opportunity to Help Out someone in the Gravesend area. In return, you will be provided with a place to park your RV at no cost. In some cases, but not all, facilities including power and water may be available. This will be confirmed upon application.
Activities: This couple is being hit by drought, health challenges, financial stress as well as looking after her elderly mother in addition. The female in the couple is feeding their stock twice daily, often in the dark before or after work. She is in desperate need of some extra pairs of supportive hands to encourage her to stay strong as she carries the burden of her whole family and the property. Your main duties would be to be her sidekick, to help relieve the severe pressure that she and her family are experiencing right now and just know, what an outback angel you would be! Shout if you can head to this one ASAP!
Duration: 2-4 weeks – flexible
Accommodation: BYO or Provided
IMPORTANT NOTE – before volunteering all volunteers need to be registered with Outback Links and have an up to date Working with Children Check and National Police Check. To volunteer, please apply here and contact Outback Links ASAP to arrange the checks, as they can take some time to process.
